Alone.

As a woman cries alone in a room filled with nothing but the loneliness that surrounds her, she senses someone is near, she breathes in his warmth, she closes her eyes and is relieved when she smells the coffee tinged aroma that is filling the air beside her. He is here.

She opens her eyes to see his photograph splayed across her desk and the tears start rolling softly again as she holds back the wails of anguish. She doesn't want to wake the children. He will never be tangible again. She sobs for the memories and lack of tomorrows. She weeps that her children will never know their grandfather.
